1. The service
URLVeyor generates informational intelligence reports about publicly-available websites. The service is intended to help users make more informed decisions about websites they encounter. URLVeyor does not access private data or content that is behind logins or paywalls.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Report limits and fair use
Free and paid plans include usage allowances (for example, the number of reports you can create, the number of saved reports and the number of websites on your watchlist). We reserve the right to apply fair use limits and to suspend accounts that use the service in a way that materially impacts the platform or other users.
4. Public websites only
You agree that you will only use URLVeyor to analyse public websites and that you will not:
- attempt to access private, password-protected, or login-restricted content;
- attempt to bypass login systems, paywalls or anti-bot protections;
- use URLVeyor for abusive, high-volume or disruptive scanning of any website;
- use URLVeyor to harass, overload, attack, disrupt or damage any website or service;
- use URLVeyor for unlawful surveillance or to collect private personal data; or
- use URLVeyor to make defamatory, misleading or malicious claims about any third party.
5. Third-party services
URLVeyor uses third-party services to help produce reports, including (where configured) Firecrawl for rendering blocked or JavaScript-heavy pages and Google Web Risk for automated threat lookups. These third parties may change, restrict or be unavailable at any time. Their results are provided on an as-is basis and URLVeyor does not warrant their accuracy or completeness.
6. Reports are informational only
Reports are informational, based on publicly available signals at the time of the scan, and are not a guarantee that a website is safe, genuine, fraudulent or scam-free. Website content and third-party threat data can change at any time. You should always carry out your own checks before purchasing, entering payment details, supplying goods, relying on a supplier, or making business decisions.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Paid plan tiers displayed in the app are currently placeholders. No payment processing is enabled at this time. When paid plans become available, additional payment terms will apply and will be presented to you before you subscribe.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to URLVeyor at any time if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law, or if continued access risks harm to URLVeyor, its users, or third parties.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, URLVeyor and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless local mandatory law requires otherwise.
